Deterministic Matching

Deterministic matching refers to determining a user’s identity based on a definitive proof of his/her identity – such as user login. If the data about a user’s login is available with a publisher, the publisher can definitively identify the user next time he or she logs in. This also enables cross-device tracking as the user’s login details can be tracked across a phone, tablet or laptop. Most of the first party publisher data can be matched deterministically.
