Banned-domains-reject-website-vertoz Sometimes the word ‘restriction’ is very necessary while you are in the cyber world. Under the Domain Name System Blocking or DNS Blocking there are many websites and domains available that can harm your online image if it is published on your website. DNS Blocking is a policy for making it hard for users to locate specific domains or websites on the internet. It was first introduced in 1997 as a medium to block spam email from known IP addresses.

As per the Information Technology Act 2000, more than two hundred websites are blocked after orders from High Court of Delhi and other states courts in India. At Vertoz, we maintain and follow stringent rules against blocked domains and websites. We maintain a legal agreement between our customer i.e. publisher, advertiser and partners. There are very stern terms and conditions that administer your participation in Vertoz.

We as a company restrain from publishing or advertising content that consists of paraphilia or scatological activities. Anything which is related to children or minors in adult or sexual situations. We are strictly against promotions regarding incentives for online activity to surf websites, click on ads, or any activity that artificially enhances a website or advertiser metrics. There is no space for promoting violence, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization.

Vertoz has rigid intolerance against illegal products or services, drugs, gambling, fake documents, copied material, or paper mills. Any unauthorized use of third party trademarks that either creates a likelihood of confusion that consumers will believe the products or services originated from the trademark owner or is likely to dilute the value of a known trademark. There is no promotion regarding certain weapons, alcohol, tobacco or any related paraphernalia. Advertisements for electronic cigarettes are permitted but cannot contain tobacco. Strict blocking on any content that targets to children of age eighteen and younger and any material that does not respect particular advertising rules added in the Administration Panel for specific Publisher´s Website(s).

It is necessary to avoid and ban these type of websites and domains because we want to help our customer by protecting them from objectionable content and want them to be stress-free. Our vital brand safe tool protects customer’s interest by allowing them to specific URLs, verticals and sensitive attributes that they want. We don’t promote all these above-mentioned domains because we want our customer to be brand safe.
